SUMMER PICNIC!

McCambridge Park, Area 4
(Along San Fernando Road, near Amherst)

Our annual picnic will be held at McCambridge Park (area 4 on San Fernando Road).  We will be inviting several elected representatives and currently have confirmed State Senator Carol Liu, Paul Krekorian and current City Councilmember, David Gordon.  Our two Congressmen, Adam Schiff and Brad Sherman, former Councilmember and Burbank Mayor, Marsha Ramos are just a few of our invitees.  This is a family affair so plan on spending a few great hours enjoying time together, great food and conversation.

The Burbank Animal Shelter will be our featured community project at the picnic.  Representatives will be managing a pet adoption so invite your family and friends to come on down.  We will be asking for donations of items for the Burbank Animal Shelter such as canned and dry food, cat litter, blankets and pet toys.  Not only are people having difficulty during this economy, but many can no longer afford to keep their pets.  The animal shelters are in great need of assistance.  This is expected to be a fun and energetic time.
